B20 CALLS ON THE “GROUP OF TWENTY” TO DEMONSTRATE LEADERSHIP IN THE FIGHT AGAINST THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

B20 Saudi Arabia, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) prepared a joint letter to the G20 leaders.

In it, they make a collective appeal for coordinated action by the G20 leaders in response to the unprecedented human and economic toll of the COVID-19 pandemic. They stated, that, as the scale of the infection and its impact continues to unfold, governments should work collectively and coordinated on multiple immediate as well as medium- and long-term priorities. The B20 calls for a global framework for action to support national priorities.

Businesses will also contribute to support and complement governments’ actions at global, regional and national levels.
