The 5th Session of the Consultative Committee for Entrepreneurship under the EEC Board was held in Brest

The participants of the 5th session of the Consultative Committee for Entrepreneurship under the EEC Board held on August 22, 2014 in Brest, discussed the amendments to EEC Regulations needed to establish a procedure of Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) of draft decisions of the Commission that can potentially influence business climate.

The discussion also focused on developing entrepreneurship in the Customs Union and Common Economic Space (CES), including an expediency to subsidize the expenses of light industry manufacturers on organizing events related to assessment (confirmation) of conformity of goods they produce to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union, and boosting the public-private partnership mechanisms in the Customs Union and CES member countries.
The work on eliminating the administrative barriers impeding entrepreneurial activities within the Customs Union and CIS was also discussed.
