Shokhin speaks at 100th anniversary International Labour Conference

Geneva – Speaking at the 100th anniversary session of the International Labour Conference RSPP President Alexander Shokhin stressed that the anniversary session was being held amid unstable crisis recovery.

On behalf of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, President Shokhin welcomed ILO Director General’s report A New Era of Social Justice that reflects the organization’s views of contemporary challenges.

Mr. Shokhin said that, while Russia has successfully emerged from the crisis, its economy has not yet achieved sustainable growth. RSPP, alongside government and social partners, strives to speed the process. RSPP’s primary goal is to create jobs that provide decent work, that free and competitive market economy is the best job security.
