RSPP and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, under the auspices of the US – Russia Business Dialogue, jointly arranged a visit to Russia by young California entrepreneurs and political activists, united in the Gen-Next organization, www.gen-next.org. The delegation was in Moscow on October 1-6 and then moved on to St Petersburg.
The delegation was seeking to broaden their perspective of Russia's innovation drive and policy worldview including trade development. They were also exploring key challenges for promotion of innovation in Russia, transparency for investors, the origin of the biggest misconceptions foreign investors have about Russia and legal protection of intellectual property.
RSPP arranged the delegation’s meetings at the Presidential Administration, Economic Development Ministry, Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ministry of Education and Science, Government of St Petersburg and the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia.
