At the RSPP Board meeting held on 16 May 2018 the joint statement by the RSPP, German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations and German-Russian Chamber of Commerce in Moscow on sanctions` negative influence on trade and economic cooperation was adopted (in English, in Russian).
The statement emphasizes that economic sanctions do not solve any political conflicts. Instead they create new problems and endanger the future of many people. The RSPP, German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations and German-Russian Chamber of Commerce in Moscow call for an end to the spiral of economic sanctions as well as strengthening of the international cooperation development.
