RSPP President Alexander Shokhin welcomed to the RSPP HQ at 17 Kotelnicheskaya a delegation of the European Commission led by A. Peltomäki Deputy Director-General of the Enterprise and Industry Directorate-General. Joining them in the meeting were RSPP Managing Director for International Cooperation Marina Larionova and Director of RSPP Bilateral Relations Centre Anatoly Drantussov.
Topics of Mr. Shokhin’s talk included the domain and tactics of RSPP activities, prospects facing the Customs Union after Russia’s WTO accession, RSPP B20 presidency in 2013; Mr. Shokhin officially invited his guests to the Russian Business Week (17 – 21 March 2014).
Marina Larionova gave a rundown of the work done by RSPP since the start of its B8 presidency.
The EC delegates focused on the scope of opportunities for SME in the EU countries and beyond and presented the EC initiative entitled ‘Mission for Growth’ that involves a series of meetings and conferences between businesses and public authorities.
