RSPP President Visit to Japan, Day 2

RSPP President Alexander Shokhin acted as moderator and delivered a welcoming speech at the 13th joint session of the Russian – Japanese & Japanese – Russian Committees for Economic Cooperation, alongside Motoyuki Oka, Chairman of the Japanese – Russian Business Cooperation Committee.

Ivan Blagodyr, Deputy Minister for Far East Development
Vyacheslav Shport, Governor, Chairman of the Government of the Khabarovsk Region
Anatoly Chubays, Board Chairman, RosNano
Kenji Miura, Toyota Motor Corp. Executive Director
and representatives of Russian and Japanese top companies.

Topics under discussion included interaction projects in the region, such as the Russian Government Far East Development Strategy, prospective cooperation of separate Russian regions with Japan, joint projects in energy, infrastructure and natural resources, innovation, finance, renewables, energy efficiency, hi-tech, biotechnologies, nanotechnologies, and banking.
