St Petersburg hosted the First International Legal Forum held under the auspices of President Dmitry Medvedev. The Forum attracted high-ranking from 18 countries including the Justice Ministers of Russia Russia, India, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Vietnam, Chief State Prosecutors and Attorneys General of Russia, USA, UK etc., representatives from international judicial authorities, aides and councilors to the Russian President, heads of Russian judicial agencies and organizations, businessmen, international experts and members of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Alexander Shokhin led a discussion panel devoted to labour legislation reform. The panel participants included Russian Chamber of Commerce President Sergey Katyrin, Deputy Health Minister Alexander Safonov and other experts. Mr. Shokhin held a meeting with the leadership of the St. Petersburg regional division of the Union.
