RSPP President met with Austrian Economic Chamber President

RSPP President Alexander Shokhin met with the President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Mr. Christoph Leitl, who was mainly interested in the ongoing privatization of Russian enterprises and the effect the country's WTO accession may have on Russian companies. Mssrs Shokhin and Leitl discussed ways for Austrian companies to make specific contributions to the modernization of Russian industries. RSPP can help Austrian businesses enter Russian regions. "They should invest in the sectors that stand a good chance of entering fair competition on world markets", said Mr. Shokhin.

Other participants of the discussion included the Austrian Ambassador in Russia Margot Klestil-Löffler, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy, Mr. Gerhard Seiller and others.
