RSPP President Dr. Alexander Shokhin met with BDI President Dr. Dieter Kempf, BDI Director General and Member of the Presidential Board Dr. Joachim Lang as well as Managing Director of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations Dr. Michael Harms at the RSPP headquarters on 4 July 2017.
The discussion focused on Russian-German business cooperation priorities; implementation of the “German-Russia Initiative for Digitalization (GRID)” launched by RSPP and German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations; Initiative of a common economic space from Vladivostok to Lisbon; and RSPP and BDI joint work on bilateral and multilateral basis.
Dr. Alexander Shokhin expressed appreciation to Dr. Dieter Kempf for the successful B20 presidency in 2017 which produced the business recommendations for the G20 leaders and emphasized RSPP members` commitment to actively engage in the B20 under forthcoming B20 presidencies.
