RSPP President Dr. Alexander Shokhin called for a consolidation of efforts of business community and governmental bodies at the Foreign Ministry’s Business Council meeting

A regular meeting of the Business Council at the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation under the chairmanship of Minister Sergei Lavrov was held in Moscow on 16 November 2018. The discussion focused on issues related to ensuring effective political and diplomatic support for Russian companies’ operations abroad and bolstering Russian businesses’ positions in foreign markets.

Speaking at the meeting, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) Dr. Alexander Shokhin called for a consolidation of efforts of the Russian business community and governmental bodies, and joint work to address the weak points in activities of bilateral business fora and official Russian representative offices abroad as well as strengthen Russian economic diplomacy`s influence.
