RSPP President Alexander Shokhin met with US Ambassador to the Russian Federation John F. Tefft

Alexander Shokhin and John Tefft discussed the prospects of economic growth in Russia, investment climate and bilateral cooperation prospects. Alexander Shokhin told John Tefft about the RSPP work with the partners in the framework of Eurasian Economic Union.

One of the RSPP international cooperation areas is Russia – US business relationships development. In June 2008 RSPP and U.S. Chamber of Commerce established the Russian-American Business Dialogue. Since 2009 the Russian-American Business Council established by the instruction of the Government of the Russian Federation operates under the aegis of the RSPP. One of the most important dialogue platforms are annual business roundtables “Russia – North America” organized by the RSPP in the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
