The meeting of RSPP President Alexander Shokhin with BDA President Ingo Kramer, BDA Director Reinhard Gёhner and Chairman of the Board of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce Michael Harms was held at the RSPP on February 3, 2015.
The discussion focused on the current economic and political situation in Russia, as well as perspectives of Russian-German economic relationships, investment opportunities for German companies and possibilities for implementing Russian-German initiatives and projects in the framework of current political situation.
The participants exchanged views on such issues as labor market policy and education (with a focus on the activities of the Federal Association of BDA in Germany) and Russian-German cooperation in this area.
Alexander Shokhin and Ingo Kramer expressed commitment to continue close collaboration in particular within the framework of the Presidential National Council for Professional Qualifications (with the aim to create and develop a system of professional qualifications in Russia).
Alexander Shokhin accepted an invitation of Ingo Kramer to visit Berlin at a convenient time.
