RSPP President Alexander Shokhin met with the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Russian Federation Carlos D. Sorreta on June 8, 2015. Alexander Shokhin informed the Ambassador of the RSPP involvement in promotion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the APEC and ASEAN countries, including through the National Coordination Center for Developing Economic Cooperation with the Countries of Asia-Pacific Region.
Carlos D. Sorreta presented Philippines 2015 APEC presidency`s priorities as well as the opportunities for the RSPP member companies to participate in the APEC events with business engagement.
The participants of the meeting shared views on possible areas of engagement to promote Russian – Philippine business cooperation.
Alexander Shokhin and Carlos D. Sorreta agreed to continue close contacts to foster Russia – Philippines business and economic cooperation.
