On February 4, 2015, RSPP President Alexander Shokhin met with International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative in the Russian Federation Bikas Joshi.
The discussion focused on the current economic situation in Russia and the world. The anti-crisis measures for economic stabilization in Russia were discussed. It was emphasized that structural reforms are needed to boost growth.
Alexander Shokhin and Bikas Joshi agreed that reduction of fiscal burden on business and predictable and transparent monetary policy are key conditions for stability and growth.
