RSPP President Alexander Shokhin met with Ambassador of Mexico to the Russian Federation H.E. Ruben Beltran.
Alexander Shokhin and H.E. Ruben Beltran discussed the outcomes of the recent meeting between the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and RSPP President and their value for the business community. Alexander Shokhin informed H.E. Ruben Beltran about the forthcoming RSPP annual congress within the Russian Business Week to be held on March 21-25, 2016. RSPP President invited representatives of the Mexican Embassy and Mexican companies to attend the Russian Business Week events, in particular the international forum “New Conditions and Opportunities for Economic Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific and Eurasian Regions”. The special focus of the forum will be made on the conformity of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) provisions with the WTO rules and norms.
H.E.Ruben Beltran gratefully accepted the invitation to attend the Russian Business Week events and informed Alexander Shokhin about the forthcoming visit of Mexican Foreign Secretary Claudia Ruiz Massieu to Moscow on June 1-2, 2016. Ms. Massieu will be accompanied by Francisco N. González Díaz, CEO of ProMéxico – a state agency for investment and export promotion – as well as Mexican business delegation.
It was agreed that the meeting between Russian business representatives and Mexican delegation members headed by Ms. Massieu will be organized on June 2, 2016 before noon in the RSPP office.
