RSPP Managing Director (International Cooperation) Andrey Kuznetsov has welcomed a delegation of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai) led by the Chairman of the Japanese Committee for CIS relations Mr. Y. Tada to the new RSPP headquarters at 17 Kotel’nicheskaya naberezhnaya.
Yearly meetings of this kind between RSPP and Keizai Doyukai have become traditional since 1992.
The Japanese delegation major macroeconomic changes in Russia, the role RSPP is playing in fostering investment climate in Russian regions, the peculiarities of Russia’s accession to the WTO, the work of the Customs Union etc. Mr. Kuznetsov handed each delegate a copy of the joint RSPP/KPMG report ‘Attracting FDI to regions of Russia’.
RSPP Managing Director Maria Glukhova (Economic Policy and Competitiveness) provided some legal alert on the Russian investment legislation.
Anatoly Drantusov, Head of RSPP Centre for Bilateral Cooperation, asked Mr. Tada’s views on prospective participation of Japanese companies in the Skolkovo technopolis project.
The free exchange of ideas that followed shed much fresh light on the ways Japanese businesses can participate in the modernization of Russia’s economy.
