International training center of the ILO has run a training for executives of employers’ associations

This year from 10 to 14 of February the International training center of the ILO in Turin (Italy) arranged the resident part of the training course “Master Training on Management of Employers’ and Member Business Organization”.

The program was attended by the executives of employers’ organizations and business associations from 40 countries. Rafael Khusyainshin, a director for regional development, took part in the training on behalf of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and shared the best business practices of RSPP in terms of creation, implementation and development of the National Qualifications System of the Russian Federation with his international colleagues.

The teaching staff of the course included key specialists and business trainers of the International Labour Organization, the International Organization of Employers and the World Employment Confederation.

Over a period of a week the participants got acquainted with the cutting-edge world practices of entrepreneurs’ associations, learned new strategies for retaining current and attracting new members of employers’ organizations, trained management skill of internal and external communications, studied tools for launching new and improving present services in organizations, exchanged work experience in their companies. During the hands-on part of the training the participants visited the Union of Industrialists in Turin (territorial subdivision Confindustria - the confederation of Italian manufacturing industry), where they got acquainted with significant services and facilities provided by Italian colleagues.

In the final part of the course the participants had to take the finals that consisted of the project presentation, a test and essay-writing on the development of services and facilities in their organizations.

Based on the results of the on-line training (November 2019 – January 2020) and resident parts of the training course the listeners will receive a ITCILO Master program certificate of completion.

In May 2020, in Moscow the International training center of ILO will give a three-day specialized learning workshop for employers’ organizations and business associations executives from Eastern Europe and Central Asia and representatives of regional divisions of RSPP.
