Georgian government launches "100 investment Offers to Business" initiative

The government of Georgia has launched a new privatisation initiative — “100 Investment Offers to Business”. In an effort to privatise state-owned real estate, the Government is planning to hold 100 electronic auctions. All interested parties have the opportunity to participate in the auctions.

There are currently around 50 active electronic auctions and around 110 bids. The properties are mainly located in Tbilisi and the north-west of Georgia.

The real estate being sold as part of the initiative includes hotels, industrial and storage facilities, medical centres, educational institutions, state enterprises, agricultural facilities, sports infrastructure, and farms.
