Federal Customs Law: A Year Later

Ministry of economic development hosted a seminar chaired by the Minister Elvira Nabiullina devoted to the results of a survey of the enforcement of the federal law on customs regulations enacted a year ago. Mr. Andrey Kuznetsov (managing director, International Cooperation) represented the Russian Union of Industrialists. Also attending were officials from the Federal Customs Service and a number of representatives from business associations.

RSPP came up with a considerable amount of feedback from its members and regional branches. Businessmen and companies propose various adjustment mechanisms to bring interaction between businesses and customs up to scale.
