The Roundtable “Big Eurasian Partnership: Current Challenges and Trends (Regional Perspective)” in the framework of the International Forum “Orenburg – Heart of the Eurasia” was organized in Orenburg city on 6 December 2018.
Director of the Center for Multilateral Cooperation at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) Mr. Sergey Mikhnevich moderated the Roundtable.
The discussion of the event focused on the Eurasian Economic Commission`s work on tracing and addressing barriers to interregional cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU); influence of digital transformation in the member economies to the Eurasian integration; advancement of customs administration; forming of the Big Eurasian Partnership with participation of China, India, Pakistan, Iran, CIS and other countries; new opportunities and risks for business caused by a conjunction of the EAEU and the Chinese initiative “One Belt, One Road”; as well as experience and development cooperation perspectives for Russian, Belorussian, Uzbek and Kazakh entrepreneur in the Eurasia.
Sergey Mikhnevich also conducted a ceremony of awarding winners of the competition “Exporter of the Year” among small and medium companies.
