On September 16, 2014 69th Session of the UN General Assembly opened in New York. The discussion mainly focused on the progress towards a Post-2015 Development Agenda. The next several months of intergovernmental discussions will be crucially important and could spell far-reaching impacts on doing business in developing countries for decades to come. Meanwhile, and complementing the activities at the UN, discussions taking place at the OECD over coming months will redefine development finance and revise tools for enhancing investment conditions in developing countries. It is in this context that the BIAC Development Task Force met on November 6, 2014 in Paris.
