RSPP President Alexander Shokhin welcomed a delegation of Turkish businessmen led by Tuncay Özilhan, Chairman of the Russia – Turkey Business Council and President of the Anadolu Holding, to the RSPP Headquarters in Moscow.
Focusing his presentation around B20-related RSPP activities Mr. Shokhin invited the Turkish party to get involved in the joint policy making within the B20, bearing in mind that in 2015 the B20 presidency will go to Turkey.
In view of the upcoming session of the Russia – Turkey Intergovernmental Economic Cooperation Commission on April 18 – 19 in Antalya the parties have agreed to try and arrange a business circles’ meeting scheduled to coincide with the session.
Mr. Özilhan showed interest in the RSPP International Council for Cooperation and Investment. He added Anadolu was poised to consider joining the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Another idea put forward by the meeting was that of consolidating the efforts of all Russia – Turkey business structures under one umbrella in order to boost coordination between the business associations.
