The entire business community “tacitly condemn” the sanctions against Russia, Alstom Russia President Philippe Pegorier told ITAR-TASS news agency Monday during the RSPP-hosted meeting of the International Council for Cooperation and Investment (ICCI).
"All the stakeholders have had a chance today to discuss what’s to be done about the sanctions. Everyone here is against the sanctions. We’ve been discussing ways to organize ourselves, and trying to identify issues to be lobbied", - said Mr Pegorier.
Mr Pegorier also confirmed Alstom’s interest in the BAM and TransSib projects.
Another ICCI meeting participant, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told ITAR TASS that the business community had not been duly warned about the sanctions against Russia at alll.
