APEC Ecomomic Leaders met in Beijing to discuss the priorities of advancing regional economic integration, promoting innovative development, economic reform and growth, and strengthening comprehensive connectivity and infrastructure development with a view to expanding an deepening Asia-Pacific regional economic cooperation, and attaining peace, stability, development and common prosperity of the Asia-Pacific.
The meeting concluded with an adoption of the Declaration (in English, in Russian) in which the leaders confirmed their commitment to pursue free and open trade and investment in the region. The leaders emphasized the priority of improving business environment “behind the border”.
