The latest UN in Russia bulletin No.2 (128) has been published ("From economic growth to sustainable social development based on human rights").

The RSPP's role in promoting a strong culture of responsible business and sustainable development in Russia, including respect for human rights, is highlighted in an article marking the 10th anniversary of the Guiding Principles on Business. The relevant principles are enshrined in the Social Charter of Russian Business. "The RSPP, in conjunction with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN OHCHR) and the national network of the UN Global Compact, promotes best corporate practices domestically and internationally."

The article showcases a new publication by the RSPP - the compendium of corporate practices "Russian Business and Human Rights", published in March 2021 in collaboration with the OHCHR. It presents the practical experience of 32 companies from various sectors of the economy, reflecting their active involvement in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and human rights in business. The article also highlights the involvement of Russian companies in the discussion and implementation of the Guiding Principles since their adoption, and the importance of incorporating and embedding the principles into business practices, and developing cooperation among all stakeholders in this area.

According to a survey of Russian business and human rights experts, the majority expressed confidence that respect for and observance of human rights is an integral element of responsible business practices, effective corporate strategies for sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.
